The Diamond Distillery has uniquely combined all the old artisanal stills such as Port Mourant or Versailles from the Demerara region and continues to combine traditional distillation techniques with modern technologies in order to produce its world renowned rum.
The nose opens on stone fruits and herbaceous aromas combined with bitter almond notes. The mouth delivers creamy and milky flavours typical from the Port Mourant double wooden pot still as well as touches of menthol and white pepper. The finish is precise and spicy.
